I am honored to join the EAGLE team as principal of EAGLE Phoenix South. It is my goal to make sure all EAGLE scholars have an outstanding educational experience and fully reach their potential. Prior to joining the EAGLE team, I was an elementary and middle school teacher, a district coordinator, a high school assistant principal, and a middle school principal. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, and an Ed.S degree in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. I look forward to partnering with families to bring to life Expecting Academic Greatness with a Loving Emphasis for all scholars.
As an instructional coach at EAGLE College Prep Mesa, I enjoy collaborating and working with teachers to support and improve the quality of teaching and student learning experiences. Being a part of EAGLE Mesa is an opportunity I look forward to growing as an Educator and Mentor. Before being an Instructional Coach, I taught various grades starting 13 years ago in the Philippines, then Florida, and much of the time here in the Phoenix area.
I received a bachelor's degree in Communications- Public Relations at Brewton Parker College, a master's degree in Early Childhood Education at Concordia University-Portland, and currently finishing a doctorate in Education at Capella University.
I've lived in Arizona with my husband for eight years, and we have three children. One of my favorite things to do is to watch them play sports and explore this state together.
I am honored to serve here at Eagle and look forward to supporting staff, students, and family.
I joined EAGLE Mesa as the second member of the team, in the fall of 2014. As the Office Manager, I am responsible for collecting and maintaining school records. It is, also, my pleasure to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have or to direct you to the appropriate person who can help.
I am excited to be part of EAGLE: Mesa and look forward to assisting the community.
As the Schools Admissions Manager my goal is to provide any information that we can to help you choose the best school for your scholar. Prior to becoming the school’s admissions manager, Ms. Romero taught music classes to ages 4–18 for 2 years.
In 2019, Ms. Romero start working with EAGLE College Prep: Maryvale’s as the afterschool music teacher she fell in love with the culture and community. She's had the privilege since then to helping teach 4th- 6th grade ELA/Math.
As the School Operations Manager my primary responsibility is to ensure that teachers and scholars have the necessary tools to help them achieve success. I have worked in education for the past 15 years serving grades K-12. I love working behind the scenes to ensure that Eagle Mesa runs smoothly while helping scholars find their greatness with a loving emphasis.
